Maintenance Supervisor/Planner-Scheduler (07/01/96 - 05/27/03)

·   Management duties began as a Maintenance Supervisor working rotating 12-hour shift responsible for maintaining plant operations as required. 

·   Involved in all aspects of the Operations of the Goodyear Chemical Plant. 

·   Worked with, and advised, operators of valve line-ups as well as trouble-shooting all equipment in all areas of the plant.

·   Duties as the Maintenance Supervisor were for all activities related to Sheet Metal Dept, Machinist Dept, Mechanic Dept, and Pipefitter/Welder Dept. 

·   Responsible for acting as liaison between the Emissions Control contractors and Goodyear.  I received their documentation on any non-compliance items and assigned the respective crafts to make the repairs and return the documentation for re-testing.

·   Planned Mechanical and I/E shutdowns and maintenance operations. 

·   Duties also included all personnel and discipline duties, job assignments and planning responsibilities, ordering and maintaining tools and materials, and maintaining records and files of all associates and equipment as needed.
